      JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROJECT PLANNER GENERATOR

      Procurement & Dispatch Coordination:

      • Create and manage purchase requisitions for multiple ongoing projects in SAP.
      • Ensure timely dispatch of project items in alignment with project timelines and company sales targets.
      • Maintain zero shortages during dispatch; escalate issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.

      Production Planning & Monitoring:

      • Prepare and monitor Planned vs. Actual Manufacturing Hours to assess project efficiency.
      • Issue production orders to stores and shop floors based on project requirements.
      • Calculate manufacturing hours to support cost estimation and budgeting.
      • Implement a cost-saving approach by optimising resource utilisation, reducing waste, and improving production workflows.

      Tooling Management:

      • Arrange tooling requirements, including standard and project-specific tools.
      • Manage tooling kick-offs to ensure readiness for production.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration:

      • Coordinate with Design Engineering (DE), Materials Management (MM), Project Management (PM), Quality Assurance (QA), and Production teams for smooth project execution.

      Site Activity Coordination:

      • Oversee site operations such as Stator Stacking, Stator Winding, Rim Stacking, and Assembly to ensure seamless execution.

      Software Proficiency:

      • Hands-on experience with SAP / S/4 HANA for PP, PS and MM modules, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project. Experience in Power BI is an added advantage.

      Soft Skills Competencies:

      • Ability to align planning activities with business goals and project timelines.
      • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability
      • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
      • Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving project scopes.
