What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee daily operations in the absence of the General Manager
- Make real-time decisions to allocate time and resources effectively
- Manage and direct team members to ensure excellent customer service
- Handle miscellaneous duties, including installation of equipment
- Engage in continuous education through U-Haul University
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Leadership experience in any capacity
- Customer service experience
- Flexibility to work various shifts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role
- Familiarity with moving and storage industry practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Experience with safety and compliance regulations
- Knowledge of basic mechanical skills for equipment installation
