      JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

      INTRODUCTION: The Department of Health Policy and Administration (HPA) in the College of Health and Human Development (HHD) invites applications for a full-time (48 week), non-tenure track Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor position for its residential and online undergraduate and/or MHA degree programs.

      RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to: courses on Health Care Finance, Health Care Payment, Consumer Choices in Health Care, Health Care Management, Strategic Planning and Marketing, and Health Care Leadership.       QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a Masters degree (Doctoral degree preferred) in health management, health policy, nursing, public health or a related field, and have teaching experience, preferably both in person and online. Professional experience or background in healthcare finance is desired.

      SALARY: Competitive, commensurate with background and experience. An attractive benefits package is available.

      Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
