      THE OPPORTUNITY

      As an Assistant Production Technician, you will perform day to day preparation, cleaning, sterilisation and other required tasks to ensure antigen and / or vaccine is produced to required standards to meet customer demand in global markets. This role is cross-functional between all manufacturing areas.

      WHAT YOU WILL DO

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      • Performing physical manual tasks and processes in accordance with SOPs

      • Documenting all tasks in batch records and worksheets in accordance with Good Documentation Practice

      • Maintaining good housekeeping

      • Planning daily workload

      • Communicating clearly with other members of the Manufacturing Team and other departments to ensure the smooth flow of product, samples and documentation.

      • Ensure the highest possible safety standards are met by taking responsibility for own and others safety

      WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

      To be successful in this role, you will have:

      • Science degree or equivalent preferred

      • Prior exposure in a manufacturing / production environment

      • Exposure in a biological, pharmaceutical environment is preferred, though would seriously consider exposure in other similar environments (eg. in food, milk production etc)

      • Keen eye for detail with excellent organisation skills

      • Initiative & who works well with minimal supervision

      • Ability to follow processes & SOPs

      • Understanding of cGMP

      • Good computer skills across the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

      • Knowledge of SAP is preferred
