The Department of Neurology at LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking applicants for a Vascular Neurologist to join the faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). This neurologist would be part of our growing LCMC Health multidisciplinary team whose function is to provide comprehensive care for patients with stroke and stroke-related illnesses in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area.
The successful applicant would be based at University Medical Center - New Orleans (UMCNO), Louisiana, which is a tertiary-care facility receiving referrals from hospitals throughout the Gulf Coast. Incumbent will report to the Head of the Department of Neurology and work collaboratively with the current stroke team.
The successful candidate must be ABPN board-certified in Neurology, and board eligible/board certified (or equivalent) in the subspecialty of Vascular Neurology. Academic rank and salary will be based upon the individual’s background and experience.About the company
