What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitating Learning
- Course and syllabus preparation
- Assessment and evaluation of learners
- Mentoring and advising of students
- Research/scholarship mentoring and supervision
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program
- One year of demonstrated successful graduate-level teaching in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Licensed or licensed-eligible as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California
- Experience in college teaching in both on-ground and online environments
- Active membership in appropriate counseling associations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of CACREP standards
- Experience in assessing program curricula and outcomes
- Ability to assist in evaluating operational policies and procedures
- Familiarity with program outcomes and student learning outcomes
- Proficient computer skills
