      The Public Health Program in the College of Graduate Studies at Midwestern University invites applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position at the rank of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, available for the 2023/2024 academic year. This position is supported by a competitive salary and benefit package fully funded by the institution. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (DrPH, PhD, MD, JD, EdD, etc.) with at least two years of teaching public health at the graduate level. A minimum of a graduate or postgraduate degree in public health (MPH, MSPH, DrPh) is strongly desired. This individual must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching future health professionals in an interdisciplinary environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point are required. A focus on One Health and health equity are desired. Experience with the CEPH accreditation process and online teaching are also desired.

      The Public Health Program enrolls students at the Midwestern University Glendale, Arizona and Downers Grove, Illinois campus. Therefore, this on-campus position can be based at either campus. The successful candidate will participate in the development and instruction of online and traditional courses for the MPH program which focuses on Global One Health. Candidates with professional credentials or experiences in health sciences in addition to a public health degree are encouraged to apply. This position involves a significant amount of teaching with highly motivated healthcare professions graduate students in an interdisciplinary environment and offers the opportunity to develop a strong social or laboratory-based research program and to engage in other scholarly activities. A research start-up package will be made available to qualified candidates.
