The Department of Natural Sciences is part of the College of Agriculture, Life and Physical Sciences (ALPS).
Primary Responsibilities: Teach 12 semester credit hours per semester (usually three courses); course reduction for active research. Courses can include, but not be limited to, General Botany, Biology for Majors I and II, Plants and People, Plant Systematics, Field Botany, Plant Taxonomy, and other advanced courses.Delivery of courses will be through face to face as well as distance delivery.Establishment of an externally funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate students, as well as participation in professional development, and university and community service.Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.Position is Security Sensitive.This is a nine-month tenure-track position.About the company
