      Job Description Summary:

      The Research and Development center located in Brussels is one of the main R&D centers of the Coca‐Cola Company. We oversee the development of new beverages (juices, iced teas, water, dairy), packages and retail equipment innovation for Europe, Eurasia, Middle East and Africa.

      We are looking for a laboratory operator who will be responsible to ensure a productive and safe laboratory environment by ensuring the correct functioning of the facility / equipment and the application of the Health & Safety procedures.

      What You’ll Do for Us:

      - Ensure the laboratory has the supplies and ingredients

      - Ensure all laboratory equipment (analytical and small-scale production) are available and operational:

      - Schedule and perform weekly calibration

      - Organize and coordinate preventive maintenanc e .

      - Coordinate the repair of broken equipment with the supplier.

      - Propose new capabilities to improve and fulfil future needs

      - I mplement of new equipment: Quotation, order, installation, validation & SOP.

      Lab operation & Safety procedures:

      -Coordinate Health and Safety Program in development and stability laboratories

      -Ensure compliance with the procedures.

      -Deliver training to ensure everyone is aware and apply the procedures.

      - Review and upgrade procedures on a regular basis

      - Work closely with the stability team. Perform tasting sessions and rep ort results & tasting session planning.

      - Occasionally perform a basic analytical test to support MSDS.

      Qualifications & Requirements :

      - 2-3 years of successful working experience in a laboratory environment or pilot plant in the food , pharmaceutical or chemical industry

      - Bachelor or Master degree in food science , biochemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent.

      - Experience in equipment calibration & maintena nce .

      - G ood knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice.

      - Solution-oriented mindset

      - O rganized and able to multi-task across multiple lab responsibilities

      - T eam player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to build working relationships across the functional area .

      - Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language is a plus.

      Travel requirements:

      - Travel will fluctuate and is projected as maximum of 10% of the time.
