      Position Summary

      Cell Core is responsible for supplying cellular products to support internal organizations. Team communications and support occur within and between varied company levels and internal organizations. This role will be responsible for in-lab fulfillment of requests across the cell therapy franchise. The role will therefore require a high degree of approachability and interpersonal savvy, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams. Effective organizational skills will also be necessary as the candidate will be responsible for varied technical work, process execution, and organizing large quantities of data.

      The candidate will additionally assist in manufacturing engineered T-cell products and intermediates in support of Research, Technical Development, Process Development, Analytical Development, and Process Characterization efforts. The position will require process execution, documentation, data analysis, drafting of technical reports, and presentation of results. Additionally, the candidate will serve as an internal subject matter expert on one of the cell therapy processes within Cell Core. Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts is required.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Lab-based role responsible for assisting in generating engineered T-cell products and intermediates.
      • Management of freezer inventory and oversight of material allocation to various stakeholders.
      • Experience with aseptic technique while working in the biological safety cabinet is strongly preferred.
      • Effective problem solving and ability to adapt to change on the fly will be necessary for success in this role.
      • Strong attention to detail and flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts is required.

      Qualifications & Experience

      • Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of experience in Immunology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or related field
      • Excellent aseptic technique strongly preferred
      • Mammalian cell culture and cell banking experience preferred
      • Buffer and cell culture media preparation
      • Excellent record keeping and documentation skills
      • Experience with managing large inventory systems strongly preferred
      • Proficient use of MS Office products
      • Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to rapid changes, and work in a fast-paced team environment
      • Strong prioritization skills

      The starting compensation for this job is a range from $65,000-$82,000 plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

      The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

      Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
