      Are you looking for a great place to work and lead? If so, Goodwill of the Heartland is the place for you. We are looking to hire a full-time Assistant Store Manager for our Mt. Pleasant Store!

      Our Assistant Store Manager (ASM) offers a wonderful opportunity for leadership development! This position supports the retail team in providing excellent customer service to shoppers, donors, team members and all other guests. The ASM will ensure our stores maintain an attractive, inviting, and visually appealing store, full of neatly merchandised product. This position also assists the Store Manager in training and developing team members, completing documentation and other records, ensuring the safety of our team and customers, and will provide supervision to staff in the absence of the Store Manager.

      Position requirements:

      • One year of full-time employment in a related field is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
      • Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends.
      • Successful completion of background screening: valid Iowa driver's license, auto insurance, motor vehicle record, and criminal background check.

      An Assistant Store Manager has a starting wage of $15.45 per hour, plus incentive pay based on store performance. The schedule for this position rotates between days, evenings, and weekends. Candidates must have availability for a flexible schedule.
