What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with the supervision of the entire construction site and all subcontractors
- Inspect subcontractors' work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Document work completed and punch out finished units
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and review schedules with subcontractors
- Perform installation of items such as mailboxes and bike racks when not contracted out
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction
- Must be willing to travel 100% of the time
- Ability to read, write, speak, and interpret rules and procedures
- Basic math skills to perform calculations and interpret graphs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with MS Office and MS Project
- Ability to read a tape measure and use a level
- Previous training in construction safety practices
