      Job Description

      The Assisted Living Director @ The Kensington manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.

      This is a full-time salaried position, Monday-Friday.

      Pay range: $120-135k/yr

      What will I do every day?

      • Complete accurate and regular resident assessments
      • Determine the appropriate level of care
      • Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
      • Supervise and administer all resident medications
      • Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
      • Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers
      • Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
      • Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing
      • Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
      • Hire and train care team associates
      • Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
      • Communicate cost changes to family members when needed

      What will I need to be successful in this role?

      • Must possess active nurse license (RN/LVN/LPN)
      • Three to five years of supervisory experience in multiple care departments
      • BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields desired
      • Experience working with seniors is required

      Special Requirements/Certifications:

      • Licensed as RN/LVN/LPN
      • Experience working with Microsoft Office and with Assisted Living software programs
      • CPR Certified
      • First Aid Certified
      • Universal Precautions trained
      • Title 22 knowledge
