Strategic Alignment: Lead the alignment of application development roadmaps with enterprise strategies, ensuring that projects adhere to architectural and design standards.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical design and architectural guidance to multiple teams and projects, maintaining a hands-on engineering role.
Solution Development: Architect, design, develop, and implement technology-enabled business and technical information solutions across multiple platforms and technologies.
Technology Research: Research, analyze, and recommend new technologies, tools, and techniques to enhance the firm’s application and enterprise technology strategies.
Process Review: Review business processes and technical solutions to ensure efficient use of resources and integration of multiple systems and technologies.
Key Initiatives Ownership: Lead key initiatives, particularly in Cart, Checkout, Fulfillment, Inventory, Pricing, and other commerce functions.
Team Leadership: Provide functional and technical leadership to Lead Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and Quality Analysts.
Policy Enforcement: Enforce company policies related to development methodology, architecture, security, change and configuration management, and compliance.
Performance Tuning: Perform complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support.
Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 10 or more employees along with contractors.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years in Engineering or Development roles with a strong technical background.
Technical Expertise:
Java-Based Applications: 8+ years of experience in building high-volume/high-transaction e-commerce applications using Java, Spring, and REST.
Web Applications: Experience in designing modular and scalable web components.
Microservices Architecture: 6+ years of experience in architecture and design using microservices.
Cloud Technologies: 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform.
CI/CD Technologies: 2+ years of experience with GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, or Sonar.
Testing: 4+ years of experience in unit and function testing using JUnit, Spock, Mockito/JMock, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, or Postman.
Unix/Linux Command Line: Proficiency in Unix/Linux command line.
Asynchronous Processing: Expert knowledge in asynchronous message processing, stream processing, and event-driven computing.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban development teams.
Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS3.
Certifications: Certified in Java, Spring, or AWS technologies is preferred.
Leadership: 5+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, including coaching and mentoring engineers and developers.
Digital Transformations: Prior experience with digital transformations, including migration from ATG or other commerce platforms.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to peers, developers, and senior leaders.

Job Description:
Our Consumer Technology Experience Omnichannel team is seeking an Associate Director with a strong technical background and a passion for the eCommerce industry. This role requires exceptional analytical and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As an Associate Director, you will oversee the design and development of initiatives that enhance AT&T’s customer and employee digital experience across consumer distribution channels. You will manage the software product development lifecycle from inception to production launch and post-production support.
