  Ansell is looking for a n Associate Specialist- Quality Assurance BP to join our team in Ansell Textile Lanka Sedduwa.

  In this position you will Reporting to BP Quality Assurance Manager to assist in managing BP quality process. Mainly accountable to monitor and maintain quality procedures and associated tasks in sewing floor .

  What your role will be?

  · Lead and guide FQC team in their daily job to maintain a smooth inspection function.

  · Conduct daily FQC meetings to discuss issues raised on previous days and to take proactive corrective actions to avoid same in future.

  · Actively involved in CRI, Validations to make sure all required quality parameters are followed and achieved as per the given standards.

  · Review non-conformities for trend analysis, and report on preventative & corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.

  · Maintain BP QMS (SOP, WI and other controlled documents) effectively and lead BP team on the process awareness and QMS updates.

  · Follow-up and guide team on SPC data handling and maintaining data base up to date

  · Make sure FQC related quality reports are maintained well and submitted on-time.

  · Help to keep BP QAD, 5S standards up to the management expectation level.

  · Go through product specifications thoroughly to make sure he and FQC team having a strong knowledge about the product and its requirements.

  · Participate in annual audits Ex: ISO 9001:2015, REGULATION (EU) 2016/425 Module D

  · Actively Involved in validations to review validation protocols, validation reports, FMEA and guide validation team on expected quality requirement.

  When updating the quality system, there is a need to liaise the certification body and implement the relevant actions for PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module D. When changing product or technical file, there is a need to liaise the person in charge of Ansell to implement the relevant actions with the certification body for PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module B, while liaise the certification body and implement the relevant actions for PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module D.

  Compliance with EHS standards .

  • Maintain compliance with all internal and external EHS rules, regulations and other Risk Management requirements.
  • performance and to promote the development of a EHS culture.

  Compliance with QMS system

  Ensure that processes are delivering their intended outputs with complying to the ATL-QMS & responsible to implement, maintain & continuous development in relevant processes in accordance with ATL-QMS.

  Communication

  Effectively communicate with other department ’ s team members to maintain a better working relationship which helps to keep up the interdepartmental collaboration.

  POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  Knowledge & Technical Skills

  · Graduate in textile engineering or Science stream

  · At least 1-2 year working experience in an apparel related field will be advantageous

  · Good English skills in speaking, writing and reading.

  · Experienced in basic QMS (ISO 9001:2015)

  · Basic understanding on PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module D
