What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish statistical plans and analytical tools for analyzing various products and classification systems
- Assist in setting pricing objectives and developing strategies for product development and catastrophe management
- Utilize actuarial modeling software for pricing, valuation, and risk management
- Monitor competitive market trends and maintain knowledge of regulatory and innovative alternatives
- Champion and implement innovative solutions, training team members on improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related actuarial/business/analytical experience in lieu of a degree
- 4 years of actuarial/business/analytical experience with an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
- Experience in developing innovative actuarial analyses and processes
- Experience in metric development and monitoring
- Strong communication and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with R, Python, SQL, or Snowflake
- Familiarity with Igloo simulation platform
- Capital modeling experience
