  Job Description

  The Team

  AI Platform Services (AIPS) is a team dedicated to building global AI driven products and services to the SEEK Group that solve marketplace information problems and improve outcomes for candidates, hirers, students and education providers in our AP&A markets.

  The team works within highly collaborative squads, each with a mix of product, data science and engineering capability to deliver and maintain end-to-end services, leveraging SEEK’s unique data assets and market insight.

  About the role

  The Associate AI Product Manager role sits within the Pricing & Performance team. This team is responsible for our objective of having “All the Ads” in each market, and ensuring we manage attention distribution in the right way to drive candidate engagement.

  You will work closely with a senior AI Product Manager to set priorities that line up with the strategy, work with product partners, optimise the team’s services and assist in facilitating good team practices.

  You will be exposed to all facets of AI product development, from identifying customer needs, sizing opportunities, and participating in discovery to prioritising implementation work and supporting integrations and new releases. The role will work across have AI Product Development and AI Product Delivery.

  This role can be based in any city in Asia/Australia where AIPS has a presence (Melbourne, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur).

  Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the Senior AI Product Manager to frame and communicate the squads strategic direction ensuring the team has visibility of short term and medium term strategic priorities
  • Work with the LT, Partners, Senior PM and the squad to set quarterly OKRs.
  • Support the team to frame problems and trade-offs in a structured way that leads to robust decisions!
  • Building a deep understanding of partners’ strategies and product roadmaps and gathering specific AI service requirements to support the delivery of the product roadmap.
  • Work with current and potential product and AIPS partners to understand partner business objectives and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Coordinate squad engagement with partner teams to define, build and integrate new products or to improve existing products.
  • Work with partners and the squad to define measures of success for our products and services, track progress and identify opportunities to improve.
  • Work with partners, the squad and the Product Science team to coordinate experiments – defining objectives, interpreting results and agreeing implications.
  • Identify and manage dependencies on other AIPS squads or partner teams across teams including Asia country leads, Growth, Product, Commex, Go To Market and ensuring timely delivery
  • Coordinate updates to stakeholders (e.g. partner steercos, AIPS showcase)

  Qualifications

  We’re looking for an outcomes focused team member with the ability to understand Seek’s business objectives and translate that at the team level. You’re passionate about achieving great outcomes from our customers and SEEK.

  • A strong learning orientation and interest in developing a career in AI product.
  • Tech savvy with some exposure to or willingness to learn about software engineering and data science.
  • Logical and data-driven approach to decision-making and able to make trade-offs to move forward.
  • Willingness to engage in robust debate/productive conflict.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Self-motivated, curious with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to break constraints and get things done, including a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and ‘pitch in’ where required.
  • Experience in or a willingness to learn about analytical tools and techniques (e.g. SQL).
