Not only do we deliver breakthrough medications, but you also can count on us to develop creative solutions to support communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.

      Associate - AI Technology

You’ll work with, and report directly, to Thomas Fuchs, Sr. Vice President – Chief Information Officer-Advanced Intelligence. Your role, as an Associate - AI Technology, is an opportunity to experience first-hand the ways in which executives work. Your mix of work will be split, roughly 50/50, between project-based work and executive assistant responsibilities.

If you aspire to do big things in your career by broadening and enriching your technology experience, this role will support your growth and expand your contributions. You will have many opportunities to demonstrate curiosity, creativity, professional maturity, and high learning agility. You will demonstrate a strong commitment and care for getting every detail right, you will communicate clearly and succinctly and be a natural planner and driver. You will manage multiple high priorities, handle sensitive business matters with confidentiality and professionalism. Lastly you will thrive under pressure and aren’t afraid to challenge others — including those that are senior to you in level.

The project work includes planning and leading team meetings, town halls, and other cyber events. You’ll help others embrace technology by partnering with teams across Lilly. You’ll create engaging presentations and provide input on executive documents. This includes owning monthly operations and program reviews and updates to tell the cyber security story and increase stakeholder engagement. Depending on how you want to grow in your career, we’ll add other types of projects and technical work that fit your interests.

The executive assistant’s work is primarily around complex calendaring and managing travel requests and expense reports. This includes proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders for meetings, challenging and prioritizing meeting topics, and sensing logistical issues before they arise. Because you are a team member of Tech@Lilly, part of your task is to figure out how to bring technology into this role — and benefit all of Lilly through more automation.
