What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform open-source threat collection and analysis to identify cyber threats
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats and exploitation vectors
- Prepare detailed analysis reports and briefings on security incidents
- Support projects aimed at improving data collection and threat intelligence processes
- Provide assistance to other Security and Incident Response Teams and mentor team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Information Technology or relevant education (bachelor's degree) in a related field
- Knowledge/experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, SIEM, or other security platforms
- Understanding of network defense principles and common attack vectors
- Basic understanding of cyber threat intelligence principles and frameworks
- Strong work ethic and good communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
- Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Cyber Kill Chain, and Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis
- Previous experience in a security analyst role within a corporate environment
