- Must be admitted to and be a member in good standing of both a U.S. State Bar (preferably Utah, California).
- Law firm experience at an associate level is not necessary but is considered a plus.
- Cross-border cultural experience and/or foreign language competency is also a plus.
Malouf’s Office of Global Counsel is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal operations team. A minimum of two to four years of exempt-level litigation experience or global trademark application, registration and prosecution experience is mandatory. You will be expected to perform both tasks with time for a learning curve understood. All aspects of trademark practice (searching, application filing, oppositions, letters of protest, and litigation related to brand enforcement) will be performed daily. If applicant has a science background, patent drafting/prosecution experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience in or willingness to learn other areas such as copyright application and related infringement litigation and trade-related litigation before the US Commerce Department or the US International Trade Commission, including motion practice, is a plus.
