What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and analyze leave, retirement, and benefit programs across all U.S. states for compliance with state-specific regulations
- Develop comprehensive gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current benefits offerings and compliance requirements
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with internal HR teams and stakeholders to create actionable compliance plans
- Provide training and education to employees and managers on program changes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Strong understanding of federal and state-level employee benefits regulations
- Proven ability to perform detailed research and analysis of complex regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report preparation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems; experience with Workday is a plus

- Familiarity with FMLA and state-mandated leave programs
- Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization
