- Bachelor’s degree, MBA is preferred.
- 3+ years of prior marketing experience, preferably within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
- Experience in the areas of innovation development and deployment.
- Proven analytic skills. Must be comfortable mining and analyzing data, then developing clear and actionable insights.
- High levels of collaboration and interpersonal skills, specifically in influencing without direct authority, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
- Proficient in managing complex projects. Well organized, good at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator.
- Encourages diverse thinking to promote and nurture innovation and comes up with useful ideas that are new, better, or unique to drive growth across the portfolio.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals and uses milestones to diligently track and manage the progress of the work.
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to give effective presentations to all levels of management.
- Builds and executes against IAMS Innovation and Renovation pipeline from ideation to execution, focusing on consumer-led insights, concept validation, product positioning, go to market strategy, etc.
- Represent marketing within the IAMS cross functional teams against the development and deployment of key brand launches which includes R&D development, positioning, manufacturing, and account sales partnership.
- Analyze and review brand, category & competitive performance across all Pet categories (Dog, Cat, Dry, Wet, Treats, Supplements) to offer recommendations for product portfolio to improve assortment and identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop Sell stories and deploy final innovation packages to IAMS Base Business team and Sales partners to enable execution in market.
- Understand how to translate the brand compass into brand activities including launch support plans to increase awareness and drive conversion in online and offline channels.
- Lead initiatives and influence innovation strategy and growth opportunity recommendations by leveraging customer, consumer and brand data and insights.
- Conduct post evaluation of activities, extracting insights to develop lessons learned and recommend changes for future innovation development and execution.

Associate Brand Manager- IAMS
Franklin, TN

The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of brand strategy and various marketing activities (including advertising, promotions, and innovation), to achieve specific brand objectives, including delivery of Sales, Share and Household Penetration targets.
This ABM role sits on the IAMS Portfolio team which is focused on building and commercializing the future product portfolio across Innovation and Renovation. The ABM will lead a cross-functional business team in the planning, execution and analysis of various project and initiatives to drive future growth based on consumer insights and unmet pet-parent needs.
