As an Accounting Implementation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing our Veracross Business Modules, working with complex projects and fostering relationships with client Business Offices. Your expertise will contribute to improving our implementation processes and procedures, making a lasting impact on our company's success.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the implementation of Veracross Business Modules, focusing on complex and demanding projects that require an understanding of Accounting, systems, and our products.
- Consult and provide organizational change management to Business Offices of various sizes, ensuring successful platform transition options, tailored configurations, and optimized workflows.
- Collaborate with the Veracross Lead Project Manager to develop project plans based on Accounting module configurations.
- Mentor clients in their chart of accounts design and coach Implementation Managers in Accounting consulting proficiency.
- Develop and deliver training engagements for strategic and high-complexity Accounting offices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hold a 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Possess an Accounting degree, coursework, or relevant experience in a Business Office setting.
- Have 2-5 years of experience implementing Accounting software, including data conversion. Experience with SaaS is a plus.
- Preferably, have experience in leading Veracross Full Accounting Implementations or similar SaaS accounting implementation experience.
- Ideally, have experience as part of an independent school business office running a SaaS accounting platform.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and processes.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Ability to learn complex software systems and use various types of technology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including public speaking.
- Ability to make complex decisions and recommendations independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Highly organized and able to work in a remote and/or hybrid environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% if needed.
