  What you will be doing

  Summary:

  Under the general direction of the Sr. Director of Business Solutions Architecture (BSA), this position will be responsible for business analytics and project management activities in accordance with Cencora’s systems development methodology and supporting projects within multiple portfolio areas (supply chain, operations, sourcing, finance, customer operations, etc.). This individual may work independently or with BSA leads to deliver small scale projects or deliverables for larger projects.

  Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting project intake and pipeline prioritization through business case development, and for assessing and tracking value (i.e., ROI, financial benefit, metrics improvement, etc.) associated with analytics solutions and recommendations

  • Works in close collaboration with project teams (Business Solution Architects, Business Intelligence, Data Science, IT and Product Owners) to provide frequent project and program updates to leadership stakeholders

  • Works in close collaboration with business partners and developers to ensure consistent understanding of business processes and requirements

  • Establishes and maintains effective business partner relationships with various Cencora teams/departments

  • Assists with tasks and deliverables related to System Development Life Cycle phases for package and custom solutions

  • Attends and participates in user and project meetings and teams to expand knowledge, as a participant and not in a lead capacity; facilitates project status meetings; tracks project status

  • Assist Business Analysts in investigating and documenting project issues and detailed requirements

  • Assist in defining, developing, and delivering test plans and associated test case scenarios

  • Frequently interacts with IT staff including business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants and other contractors

  What your background should look like

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program

  • Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience with a focus in one or more of the following business areas: Finance, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Legal or Human Resources; general technical experience required

  • Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with computer hardware such as general mainframe, midrange, network and desktop technologies; computer software includes application development lifecycle, MS Office Suite and Outlook

  • Must possess ability to self-learn and drive for knowledge to improve overall understanding of team technology solutions

  • Must possess a high skill level for writing instructional documents and general communiques with little to no grammatical or typographical errors

  • Midlevel to advance understanding of Microsoft suite of products which include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Team Foundation Server (nice to have)

  • Good understanding of how data is stored in tables and able to use basic SQL queries to research information
