Description of the Position:
The Associate, Community Partnerships is part of a dynamic team of fundraisers assisting the community hosting their own events and raising net proceeds for priority areas of The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids).
As an Associate you will manage a $750,000.00 portfolio of third-party Community Partnerships. Acting as the primary relationship manager, you will develop, cultivate and steward supporters to ensure continued success and growth. Many of your relationships will be with patient families or those with a strong personal connection and affinity to SickKids. You are part of a passionate, dedicated team of professionals collaborating to deliver a best-in-class donor experience and achieve transformational growth in fundraising. This position reports to the Associate Director, Community Partnerships.
You will:
· Manage, build and grow meaningful and effective relationships with third party event donors by providing event support, including expertise, materials/supplies, attendance at events and providing excellent customer service at all times
· Identify opportunities to collaborate with the donor to maximize and grow the third-party event potential, including meeting and exceeding the fundraising revenue target
· Identify opportunities to grow and retain existing business through strategic development and execution of individual and departmental initiatives
· Participate in the planning, analysis and strategy of the Community Partnerships team, including but not limited to providing input into team processes, plan administration, system and program implementation
· Work collaboratively with various Foundation teams to build strong relationships to ensure successful outcomes from community events; and Consult with and manage relationships within a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders including hospital staff, family/community donors, prospects and volunteers.
