- Follows internal policies, standard operating procedures, and state and federal regulatory requirements related to contract management and compliance with applicable law.
- Handles inquiries about contracts and the contracting process in a timely fashion.
- Manages the common email inbox.
- Uploads fully signed contracts to the electronic contract management database.
- Updates and maintains the electronic contract management database.
- Creates and interprets contract reports in Microsoft Excel using the electronic contract management database.
- Organizes and documents work electronically through the use of a contract log, electronic filing system, and electronic contract management database.
- Assists Contract Administration team members with administrative tasks involved in managing and reviewing contracts.
- Proactively seeks innovative ways to streamline operations and follows through on implementing new processes.
- Performs other tasks as requested by the Manager – Contract Administration.
- Associate's Degree
- Two years of contract management or other relevant experience or
- Principles, practices and techniques of current contract administration, preparation and negotiation as it relates to health care systems, academic medical centers and children’s hospitals.
- Contract format and legal language used in contracts.
- Ethics, principles and practices of contract administration.
- Cloud based contract management databases such as MediTract
- Speak and write clearly and concisely to identify and describe technical procedures, service delivery methodology and billing procedures, including use of communication skills and techniques required for contract negotiations.
- Analyze and evaluate contracts.
- Manage a significant work load, prioritize projects appropriately and work independently.
- Type with speed and accuracy.
- Use dual monitors and possess advanced skills in latest software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Zoom, Cisco WebEx, Cisco Jabber and Smartsheet.
- Plan and prioritize assignments with minimal supervision in a fast-paced tech-savvy work environment.
- Interact tactfully and effectively with others both internally and externally on sensitive and complex topics.
- Adapt to new technology and new processes with minimal explanation.
- Paralegal certification preferred

A Brief Overview
The Associate Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the common email inbox, updating and maintaining the electronic contract management database, and performing various administrative duties to assist Contract Administration team members in meeting internal policies and external regulations and optimizing legal and business terms. The Associate Contract Administrator also performs intake and administrative functions similar to the Contract Administrator.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $38.44 - $43.28 per hourThe salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
