What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Govern commercial contracts for SaaS products serving educational and government institutions
- Collaborate with department leaders to address business, financial, insurance, and legal terms in contracts
- Review and draft commercial and vendor agreements, ensuring risks and consequences are understood
- Provide governance on contract approval and execution to ensure proper deal closure
- Train sales and support staff on contracting processes and common legal questions

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong written communication skills
- BA/BSc degree
- Experience in commercial contract management and negotiation, ideally in a SaaS environment
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations, particularly US and GDPR
- Experience in preparing RFP contractual responses

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Paralegal certificate
- Previous experience working within an international company or with non-US customers
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC)
- Experience with contract management systems like Ironclad
