      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda
      - Render opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department
      - Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery, including depositions and examinations
      - Defend assigned matters by trial or dispositive hearing as applicable
      - Maintain clear and concise documentation for files to ensure understanding by all stakeholders

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - 2 to 6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense and/or personal injury
      - Juris Doctor degree
      - Admission to the New York Bar and licensed in good standing
      - Ability to travel as required for trials, hearings, and management meetings
      - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to follow complex instructions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Civil litigation experience
      - Experience in insurance defense-related litigation
      - Professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and in written correspondence
