- Partner to develop and maintain a cohesive creative vision for the brand that aligns with our mission, values, and product offerings
- Contribute to the development of creative strategies that elevate brand awareness and resonate with our target audience
- Create comps, storyboards, graphic concepts, and final deliverables as required.
- Lead the ideation and execution of creative campaigns across various channels, including digital platforms, paid media, print, and packaging
- Collaborate with Marketing teams to understand stakeholder requirements and campaign objectives for digital marketing initiatives
- Ensure that all creative elements align with brand guidelines, messaging, and campaign objectives
- Give direction to copywriters, directors, editors, and vendors relating to campaign development
- Inspire, mentor, and influence a team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate creative concepts into product launches, marketing initiatives, and the overall brand strategy
- Provide creative direction and leadership to the design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, setting priorities, timelines, and expectations to meet project goals
- Manage design budgets effectively and efficiently, optimizing resources for maximum impact
- Develop and maintain relationships with external design agencies, printers, and suppliers to ensure high-quality output and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee the development, maintenance of, and adherence to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all creative assets and touchpoints
- Review and approve design drafts, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, accuracy, and creativity
- Conduct regular audits to ensure alignment with brand values and industry trends
- Stay abreast of industry trends, wellness movements, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform creative decisions
- Leverage market insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within the wellness supplements space
- A strong communicator and collaborator and work effectively with all members of the organization, from individual contributors to top execs
- A creative leader with a track record of driving impactful creative campaigns

- Quick on your feet! When problems arise, you reliably produce responses and solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
- 8+ years of professional design experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
- Exceptional creativity, imaginative storytelling, and innovation in design thinking
- Experience with website, apps, emails, and other digital media expressions like social media
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques
- Working knowledge of UX/UI design, user flows, and usability testing
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey creative concepts to stakeholders
- Knowledge of print production processes and design best practices
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative campaigns, packaging design, and brand development
- Experience in the health and wellness industry is a plus

Metagenics is looking for a highly creative and motivated Associate Creative Director to join our North America marketing team. We are looking for a strategic thinker, with a deep understanding of design trends, that is excited about creative excellence, digitally led storytelling, and making a difference in the lives of our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for all levels of the creative process, from establishing visual and design direction to project execution and production process development. This role is hands-on and would suit a creative who enjoys daily design work. Collaborating closely with Marketing, UX, Product, and other cross-functional teams, you will lead the development of engaging and impactful creative assets that align with our brand's mission and resonates with our target audiences. In this capacity, you should have strong communication skills, exhibit great attention to detail, be able to easily build rapport with others, and excel at managing and motivating team members.

Compensation:
The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $101,300/yr. - $123,200/yr.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
Health and Wellness:
A minimum of two workdays per week are to be conducted at the Aliso Viejo Office (25 Enterprise, Aliso Viejo, CA). The remaining workdays may be conducted from a remote location.
