With a focus on delivering top-notch innovative experience strategy and design for Xfinity.com This role is accountable for the user experience, working closely with various teams focused on Sales, Existing Customers and Brand experience to ensure both business vision and customer expectations are met. Xfinity Creative's Digital Experience Design team (DXD) is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Design Systems to join our UX Design team. In this role, you will help support and evolve our design system, with a focus on crafting accessible, scalable, and innovative user experiences. Job Description Core Responsibilities Champion a process for Design Systems and maintain a roadmap of Design System components with accessibility in mind Design and build reusable, interactive components and variants in Figma with immaculate attention to detail Ability to lead as an individual contributor and manage a team of UX designers Collaborate with Creative Directors on design system strategy across Xfinity.com Develop reusable page templates and guidelines for using components Partner with engineering to develop, test, and deliver new components and patterns Find innovative ways to integrate motion into components and page layouts Pair with UX design team members to review proposed components and patterns, receive feedback, and iterate Work with UX design and engineering to identify which components and patterns are most in need and prioritize them accordingly Help other UX designers identify when elements of their work should become a new, reusable component of our larger system or remain local and specific to their use cases Help to define design principles for the new design language to share across the design org. Write detailed documentation to describe the usage and best practices of the components and patterns you design. Manage the component library in Figma, ensuring that the library is aligned with development releases and continually update the design team of changes Continually drive focus and organization on the design and engineering teams for the betterment and maturity of our design system Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The Ideal Match 7-10+ years experience in UX design, including experience building and evolving an effective design system Exceptional interaction and visual design skills, with expert command of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, color theory, and brand systems. Experience with brand redesigns is a plus. Familiarity of platform conventions for responsive Web Expertise in foundational design principles, best practices and atomic design concepts Impeccable attention to detail A strong emphasis on collaboration and feedback as a driver of success in their product design process Expert Figma user who can teach and train UX designers on best practices An excellent communicator and influencer who can work well with various groups and levels of the organization Motivated self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Employees at all levels are expected to: Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.
