      Title: Associate Creative Director [360]

      Location: Van Nuys, CA (Hybrid)

      Pay Rate: $70 - $75 per hour

      Brief Overview:

      We are searching for an Associate Creative Director to be a trusted and confident partner to the CBO/Creative Director. This full-time, on-site role oversees a full 360, in-house, design and production with weekly supervision of assets in Hong Kong and China. The ACD needs to be a mature, creative problem solver with a strong managerial background in CPG. Working with a scrappy team, so we expect this AD not just to provide direction to designers, but also to execute their own ideas.

      Job Responsibilities:

      1. Help lead the global creative vision for Munchkin in alignment with marketing, product development, and digital strategies and business objectives.
      2. Concept, design, and produce engaging strategic content and creative assets across a range of brand projects and touchpoints, including video, social and influencer campaigns, marketing and promotional, email, print, branding and logo design, packaging, media and PR programs, and other emerging channels.
      3. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors across multiple departments. Build relationships with Brand Marketing, Global Marketing, Product Development, Ecommerce, and Social Media teams to drive the creative strategy.
      4. Ensure consistent application of brand and visual identity across all collateral and marketing materials.
      5. Drive creative consistency into global markets in packaging and digital platforms, ensuring adherence to brand style guides internally and externally.
      6. Collaborate with the CBO/Creative Director to define the vision for photography and oversee all photography efforts for packaging, social media, and e-commerce.
      7. Ensure the execution of a thoughtful creative strategy and positive user interface across digital platforms.
      8. Manage a team of designers, photo/video producers by demonstrating enthusiasm for the creative landscape and new technologies; contribute strong, inspirational, and relevant creative thinking. Ensure the Creative Team meets business objectives.
      9. Perform other duties as assigned.

      Job Requirements:

      1. 8+ years of experience in a managerial role leading design teams, with significant emphasis on interactive media at a hypergrowth consumer startup or a well-known CPG brand.
      2. Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly and confidently presenting and selling creative ideas and solutions.
      3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
      4. Experience in animation and video production, with fluency in social media content formats, including Instagram Stories, TikTok campaigns, and short/long-form videos.
      5. Appreciation for music's role in storytelling for motion content.
      6. Ability to conceptualize across various mediums including social, digital, print, audio, and experiential formats.
      7. Established network of vendors such as copywriters, stylists, video directors, and editors.
      8. Strong understanding of social media engagement strategies.
      9. Solid design sensibilities with knowledge of composition, hierarchy, color theory, and typography.
      10. Proven success in ecommerce projects from concept to execution.
      11. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
