  American Honda Finance Corporation is currently seeking a Credit Buyer

  The Credit Buyer position is responsible for approving or denying credit applications, following purchase policy guidelines, and establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key dealership personnel. You play a critical role in helping AHFC establish and maintain good relationships with our dealers and our customers. Interpersonal skills, financial acumen, decision-making skills, and a results-oriented approach are significant to your success in this position.

  Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Make credit decisions
  • Maintain dealer relations, make timely call-backs
  • Assist in management and development of the Discounting Department

  Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required in business administration or other business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in external retail consumer lending and collections; a background in general auto finance/dealer finance; and a working knowledge of the Truth in Lending Act is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
  • Weekend work is required.

  Total Rewards:

  • Competitive Base Salary: $53,600 to $80,300

  Pay will be based on several variables that include, but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
