- Analyze and resolve customers’ security-related incidents and problems that have been either escalated from other teams or directed to CSRM due to workflow design.
- Prioritize tasks and ensure that issues are fully resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide support for a variety of applications and systems that are owned by CSRM.
- Analyze recurring issues to find the root cause and develop solutions so that future problems are avoided.
- Identify problems or inefficiencies in current processes and suggest modifications.
- Create easily understood, useful documentation for processes and solutions to be used by team members and end users.
- Required Education: High School diploma
- Preferred Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems (or other related field), equivalent certifications, or equivalent work experience.

Summary:
As an Associate Cyber Security Engineer for the Cyber Security Risk Management (CSRM) organization, you will be responsible for providing second and third level security support to end-users and primary support for applications and processes within CSRM. You should have broad theoretical knowledge, such as knowledge gained through post-secondary education or certification-related training, as well as some professional experience in cyber security or information technology. You will initially work with direct supervision to troubleshoot incidents, complete tasks, and analyze processes. Over time this should transition to efficiently working independently while also collaborating with team members as needed. You will be expected to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers in a clear, professional manner.
