What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build data pipelines according to transformation specifications to load source data into the data lake
- Support and enhance current data ingestion processes for healthcare data applications
- Develop and maintain data engineering processes using tools such as T-SQL, Spark, and Scala
- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations using advanced data analysis tools
- Collaborate with Technical Operations to resolve complex database issues and provide off-hours support as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Solid understanding of Linux environments with strong shell scripting skills
- 0-2 years of experience in data aggregation, standardization, and reporting
- 0-2 years of experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark
- 0-2 years of experience with RDBMS (such as Oracle or MS SQL Server) and SQL or ETL tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 0-2 years of industry experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with healthcare data in a data operations role
- Ability to debug data issues and identify root causes in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in an Agile environment
