Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. seeks Associate, Debt Capital Markets Latin America & Caribbean (“DCM”) in New York, NY to champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships in the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Latin America & Caribbean coverage area and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: working with debt capital markets and economics on assisting clients in accessing the international capital markets through bond issuances; analyzing LatAm markets and industries to better understand trends and their impact on debt issuers in order to advise clients to meet their financing needs; utilizing finance software including Capital IQ and Bloomberg; advising and communicating with clients on market reads and deal execution processes. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79 and Series 63 certifications required. 25% travel required. Proficiency in Spanish is required.
