What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Direct and supervise worldwide cost, economic, and business case analysis activities for the Department of the Air Force
- Provide policy direction and guidance on life cycle cost and economic analyses related to weapon systems and operations
- Collaborate with various military and government entities to ensure compliance with cost analysis policies
- Conduct studies to enhance cost analysis capabilities and develop cost analysis tools
- Inspire and guide financial managers within the Air Force and Space Force to achieve strategic objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Must be registered for Selective Service (for males)
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Must pass drug testing and comply with travel requirements
- Must complete a 1-year probationary period for SES career appointment
