What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain software products in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate with team leaders and senior developers to understand and refine requirements
- Perform basic troubleshooting and identify problem areas in code or server configuration
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of relational databases
- Communicate clearly with team members in both verbal and written form
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Integrated Development Environments and Source Control systems
- Familiarity with relational databases and RESTful API design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong logic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing and maintaining automated tests
- Knowledge of API testing tools and AWS services
- Familiarity with the Python programming language and web development
- Understanding of CI/CD and code deployment patterns
- Eagerness to learn through self-directed courseware and peer/senior staff mentoring
