      The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking an Associate Director-Admissions In-State Recruitment. This is a leadership and recruiting position within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This position will be responsible for managing undergraduate, first-time freshman student recruitment within the state of Alabama. The duties of this position include:

      Recruitment

      • Organizes and implements recruitment plans for incoming freshman within the state of Alabama.
      • Conducts information sessions and high school visits within a small recruitment territory in Alabama.
      • Determines applicant admissibility.
      • Works with current UAB students to share UAB student stories with prospective applicants.

      Management

      • Responsible for the daily workflow of the department including employee training, work assignments, quality control of output, productivity standards, general office or unit management and customer service.
      • Provides topical instruction, guidance and problem resolution for the department providing strong customer service.
      • Provides technical instruction for the in-state recruitment team as it pertains to CRM utilization (Salesforce/Banner).
      • Assists in decisions regarding policy and procedure.
      • This position will be based on campus at UAB.

      (Annual Salary: $57,940 - $70,000)

      Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a Driver's License from the State of Alabama required.
