Job Summary
Support the structuring and execution of public and private CLO opportunities with clients in Europe, Americas, Middle East and Africa.
Work as part of the Capital Markets and Global Banking team to actively grow the bank’s profile, business and relationship with CLO clients and support the bank’s broader CLO and ABS strategy.
Produce and deliver the highest standards of analysis, ideas and recommendations to clients. Partner with Risk to grow the CLO business in a profitable and sustainable manner. Understand and help execute the Global Banking and broader CIB strategy for clients in the West. Work to the highest standards in terms of complying with regulations and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Support the structuring and execution of public and private CLO opportunities across Europe and the Americas. Provide analysis on capital, liquidity, and ratings developments, while contributing to long-term strategy and internal education around CLOs.
Business
Lead the structuring and execution of CLO transactions, from modelling to documentation. Build client relationships, originate new deals, and collaborate across Coverage, Risk, and Product teams to deliver tailored solutions and cross-sell wider SCB offerings.
Processes
Manage internal approvals, compliance, and risk workstreams related to transactions. Oversee the production of client materials, ensure adherence to policies, and coordinate with external and internal stakeholders on deal execution.
People & Talent
Promote a collaborative team culture across Capital Markets and Global Banking. Mentor junior talent and drive awareness of CLO product capabilities within internal networks.
Risk Management
Maintain strong oversight of risks related to ABS products and ensure effective management of confidential information and compliance protocols.
Governance
Demonstrate sound regulatory awareness and uphold group conduct standards. Engage openly with regulators and raise concerns where needed.
Skills and Experience
A minimum of 3-years’ experience within a similar role for a large banking institution.
Strong modelling and excel advanced skills.
Strong understanding of loan documentation and related governance controls
The role holder will be a Certitied Person.
