      As an Associate Director, Commodity Sales, you will be responsible for Commodities sales execution and origination across the Europe & America customer franchise. The dealer will be tasked with cross-asset coverage, specifically, agriculture and energy products (including carbon).

      Responsibilities includes:

      • Maximise and responsible to grow the Bank’s Europe, Middle East & America Commodities business profitability via the customer franchise.
      • Provide high quality service to existing customers and build strong relationships across the commodities industry
      • Manage commodity orders, during London and broader northern hemisphere dealing hours and ensure accurate and timely transactions input
      • Understand the clients and trading strategy and identify opportunities
      • Established working relationships, or ability to create working relationships, with key internal stakeholder groups including Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Research & Analysis, Finance, Legal, Mid & Back Office.
      • Be able to meet all operational and compliance requirements when executing and recording transactions

      What will you bring?

      To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

      • Relevant commodity experience with a global commodity trade house or a major commodities bank group.
      • Existing relationships across various commodities markets
      • Broad products and market knowledge specifically in the energy and agriculture space.
      • Required previous experience includes pricing vanilla derivatives hedging products and basic working capital solutions.
      • Previous experience in executing natural gas transactions is a plus.
      • Good understanding of clients on boarding process, credit requirements and ISDA negotiation.
      • Experience with working in a team across multiple geographies and time zones.
      • Experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders and negotiating with clients and stakeholders at all seniority levels.
