      ABOUT THIS ROLE
      The Associate Director of Corporate Communications plays a critical role in proactively telling Audible’s company story to key external stakeholders. In this role, you’ll develop communications efforts to maximize the company’s corporate narrative with an emphasis on product, marketing, technology, growth and other major areas. You’ll reinforce Audible’s industry stature via strategic media relations and high-profile appearances at conferences/events.

      ABOUT YOU
      You have a passion for the media, tech, entertainment and publishing landscapes. You have strong business, media, trade press relationships and experience in building compelling narratives around new products/features and marketing initiative launches. You have experience translating complex, technical ideas into cohesive, clear key messaging. You have excellent written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills, and have a track record of utilizing good judgement in high pressure situations. You’re able to prioritize and respond quickly, yet thoughtfully, to urgent matters. You show a knack for diplomacy and the confidence to engage and build consensus with functional leaders at all levels of the organization.

      As an Associate Director, Corporate Communications you will...
      - Manage and support the company's corporate narrative storytelling campaigns, working in concert with all departments to identify unique, compelling story angles and communicate those messages to the media in a way that effectively generates results (i.e. editorial coverage, engagement, etc.)
      - Ideate and pitch stories related to meaningful corporate activity, inclusive of product features/developments, marketing and social media initiatives, data analytics, content, operations, etc
      - Drive executive profiling efforts, including media interviews, panel opportunities, top lists, etc. and support with messaging, preparation, etc
      - Develop and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade and business media press, event and conference organizers, award committees, and notable list curators
      - Proactively pursue trend stories around audio, publishing, tech and entertainment landscapes
      - Submit company for external recognition such as corporate awards, lists, etc
      - Curate and maintain a database of external company recognition and executive bios

      - Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
      - Experience in building relationships with key media and tech trade reporters across top tier outlets
      - Experience supporting C-Suite and Senior Stakeholders
      - Experience working cross-functionally with a variety of senior stakeholders across the organization
      - Experience crafting and delivering complex messaging to the media- Experience in external communications at a media and/or entertainment company
