Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a proactive, self-driven Global Associate Director to join the PMX Global team, based in New York. This role would suit an individual with a 5-7 years of experience in activation, measurement, and digital strategy. The candidate will need to be able to multi-task across numerous projects and communicate across multi-markets and Publicis agencies. The candidate would need to be able to think about best practices centrally that scale from a global perspective, but also consider local market nuances such as languages or customs to help generate solutions. The role will report into the Director, Digital Standards.
Team/Department Profile
PMX is the trading arm of Publicis Media, working with all Publicis Agencies (namely, Starcom, Zenith, Spark, Digitas, & Performics – as well as local agencies), in Publicis Media Markets, with some assistance provided to our P1 (emerging) markets as needed. The team works with internal PM teams, Media & Technology Partners, and Clients. The PMX Global team provide both strategic advice and trading/commercial direction. The main functions of the team are:
· Driving the highest quality for Attention metrics for Viewability & Ad Fraud
· Key stakeholder in Verification Partner relationships, driving product roadmaps & process
· Ensuring verification standard are enforceable through the right accountability structure
· Producing thought leadership documentation on relevant industry topics
· Influencing the market to create the right products for our clients, and in certain situations create alphas & betas for Publicis clients where products are deficient for emerging channels
· Creating frameworks for advertisers to succeed across platforms and partners to protect against brand safety and suitability
· Aligning thought leadership to the value of freedom of speech vs. organic reach of UGC within social platforms
· Ensuring advertisers are responding appropriately to incidents
· Helping clients and agencies understand the key pillars: Purpose, Authenticity, Trust, and Ethics
· Creating scalable solution and thought leadership for how brands can respond in a more meaningful way to their consumers
Responsibilities
· Educational sessions on Publicis’ approach to Digital Standards
· Creation of client frameworks and global goals
· Organizing client deliverables by market and assessing client readiness across Digital Standards
· Hosting educational webinars
· Creating thought leadership pieces or POVs that scale across Publicis content platform
· Developing a compliance framework to ensure consistency in our global approach
· Audit current practices based on industry standards
· Cultivate relationships across client teams to better address industry challenges and best practices
· Creating new business framework that help position Publicis as a leader in Digital Standards
· Working with Verification partners to manage pitches, create new ways of working and drive product roadmap (inputting PM needs for long-term growth)
· Working with media partners on PMX Digital Standards requirements
· Compare platform policies and standards as to how they address safety standards and enforcement
· Ensure under-represented partners have a voice to deliver higher standards based on advertiser needs
· Advocate on behalf of Publicis clients and create a feedback loop for Publicis clients to be informed of any future industry changes
Qualifications
Key Requirements
This role requires a very proactive person to stay ahead of a very fast paced part of the advertising industry. The candidate should be a great operator, an effective communicator, and capable of identifying and managing expectations, due to the volume of requests and scope of the role. They will need to have strong organization and time management skills. They will need to be able to take control of day-to-day operations whilst driving the long-term vision of this team and inspire clients and the agencies to focus on digital standards in addition to their other priorities.

Compensation Range: $91,000 - $144,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application window for this job posting will end 1/10/2024.
