- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a closely related field.
- Four years of professional full-time experience with that includes experience as a CRM System administrator in a fast-changing production environment.
- In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience (High School Diploma + 8 years of experience).
- Experience working with CRM and Student Information System systems, particularly Technolutions Slate.
- Experience managing a team, directly or indirectly.
- General knowledge of API functionality, database management and system integration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Responsive and adaptable to a fast-paced environment and fluctuating responsibilities.
- Willingness to learn new skills and encourage others to do the same.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Leadership skills to supervise and provide technical training, mentorship, and feedback to staff.

About Our Opportunity:
The Associate Director of Enrollment Systems in Enrollment Management Strategic Communications and Initiatives (EMSCI) will provide the team with direction and strategy for the systems and business processes used to recruit, yield, retain, and inform Purdue University’s undergraduate students. Under the primary direction of the Executive Director of Enrollment Management Communications, the Associate Director Of Enrollment Systems supports the University through the overall design, administration, maintenance, and support of the Enrollment Management CRM platform for undergraduate recruitment, Technolutions Slate.
The Associate Director will oversee the daily operations of the undergraduate CRM system. This position provides vision and direction on how to leverage modern technologies to improve operational efficiencies, user experience, and student experience. This involves configuring and customizing Slate to align with specific business requirements, workflows, and portals. In addition to supervising and coaching a team of talented professionals, the director will provide comprehensive guidance, covering strategy, implementation, and documentation, with a focus on enhancing efficiency. This includes exploring opportunities for automation, ensuring data integrity and security, and optimizing operational processes through rules, automation, and auditing. The Associate Director of Enrollment Systems will provide short- and long-range planning for future projects, tactics, and budget needs.
Responsibilities also include staying abreast of new technologies and enhancements to existing solutions, developing and implementing new or enhancing processes, managing projects from conception to completion, documenting processes, and fostering a collaborative work environment within Enrollment Management and the EMSCI team.
This position will report directly to the Executive Director of EM Communications and will serve as a backup for this role. This position represents an opportunity for a hybrid or fully remote work environment.
