What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead event strategy and execution, ensuring a high level of service and attention to detail
- Collaborate with leadership and teams to develop event agendas, including speaker management and topic selection
- Manage logistics for various events, including RFP creation, room block management, and technology requirements
- Provide clear communications and support to stakeholders regarding event details and logistics
- Oversee financial accuracy and reporting for events to meet budgetary objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of meeting planning and logistics experience in a multi-departmental environment, preferably in healthcare
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong technical background with experience in industry-specific technology software tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and meeting technology platforms such as Cvent
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with video and webinar communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, GoToWebinar)
- Demonstrated integrity in negotiations with vendors and contractors
- Ability to travel domestically to support event projects and business requirements
