- Work with South Division to manage financial and operational performance
- Lead development of business/financial case for specific initiatives and capital management
- Develop standard approach to partnering with Division vice presidents
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement
- Lead a group of analysts to automate reporting and unlock analytics to drive operational excellence
- Demonstrate knowledge to tie data to help drive patient care
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant, high-impact financial experience
- Experience in communicating complex thoughts in a clear, concise, and timely manner both in written and oral form
- Proven exceptional financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with key business executives (Finance, Operations, Clinical Technology, etc.) to evaluate business processes and key drivers of operational and business performance
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, assess implications and implement appropriate action plans
- Proven ability to partner with the business and guide decisions to ensure operating and financial performance objectives are met
- Proven ability to proactively identify financial and operating issues and partner with the region to find solutions
- Demonstrated combination of creativity and discipline applied to execution of scalable new growth initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in pharmacy or PBM
- Proven solid analytics background and attention to detail
- Proven excellent communication and organization skills
- Reside in central or eastern time zones

As a senior member of Genoa Regional Finance, the position will play a key role as the financial advisor and strategic partner to the South Division Vice President. The Director will support growth initiatives, expense management and overall P&L management for the region.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
