      Summary:
      The Associate Director, FP&A Manufacturing will lead Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for manufacturing and capital expenditures. This role focuses on delivering timely, accurate, and insightful information to Finance and business leaders.u00A0 u00A0Responsibilities include ongoing an ad-hoc analysis, supporting monthly and quarterly financial management reporting, reviewing and summarizing Budgets, Forecasts and Long-Range Planning for relevant areas.

      Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
      u00A0
      • Consolidate manufacturing budgets, forecasts and long-range planning, which involves gathering key assumptions and preparing presentations
      • Develop, maintain, and update models and reports, such as long-range planning model, gross margin landing model, and guidance and analytics models
      • Lead process and system initiatives for relevant areas to automate reports and streamline processes

      • Manage the budget and forecasting process for all commercial products at CMO sites including:
        • Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts including capital expenditures
        • Document and understand assumptions, risks and opportunities
        • Prepare documentation, including presentations, trends and variance analysis
        • Review headcount requisitions for alignment with budget and business justifications
        • Timely review purchase requisitions and ensure accuracy of coding and consistency with budget
        • Support the corporate long-range planning (LRP) process
        • Provide insight on cost savings activities and lead cost reduction initiatives
        • Participate in contract reviews ensuring a thorough understanding of key terms and conditions
        • Support business decisions through financial analysis and modeling
      • Assist with the monthly close process including reviewing departmental accruals and variance analysis related to contract manufacturing activities.
      • Lead the Capital Expenditure process:
        • Oversee Capital Expenditures including reviewing and guiding for Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR), preparing forecasts for capital expenditure and depreciation, and coordinating explanations for variances
        • Manage the Capital Committee by scheduling meetings, assisting with preparation of presentations, and distributing meeting minutes
        • Secure approval of standard forms related to capital expenditure requests, transfers, and retirementu00A0u00A0
        • Coordinate and review monthly accruals for construction in progress, reclassifications, and placing assets in service

        • Assist in the annual audit, ensuring adherence to finance and accounting policies consistent with GAAP and SEC requirements and compliance with SOX 404 standards

        • Other ad hoc analysis and projects as deemed appropriate

        This position does not have any direct reports.

        Interaction:
        The incumbent works closely with Site Controllers, Corporate FP&A, Corporate Accounting, and Operations Management.

        Education and Experience:
        • Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting or finance from accredited college or university; CPA or MBA preferred
        • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial analysis, management reporting, financial planning/budgeting or related area
        • System experience in forecasting (e.g., OneStream)
        • Pharmaceuticals experience a plus

        Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

        • Demonstrated working knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, general accounting
        • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
        • High proficiency in planning and reporting software (e.g., OneStream)
        • Demonstrated current knowledge of GAAP and a thorough understanding of cost accounting, preferably in pharmaceutical industry
        • Demonstrated excellent analytical abilities and effective oral and written communication skills
        • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multi-project and multi-product manufacturing organization
        • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
        • Demonstrated problem solving skills
        • Ability to travel up to 5%.
