      Job Description:

      dentsu is seeking an Associate Director, Media Planning for one of our large CPG accounts. You will join a supportive team and work with a client that sees us as a true partner.

      You will serve in an important leadership role. You will report directly into our VP, Media Planning. You will also get to demonstrate your working knowledge of the media space (Traditional and Digital media) and available media research and systems. You will help manage the daily tasks by assuring focus on important client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals. This role is hybrid, coming in to our New York City office one day a week. You will be managing a team of two.

      Responsibilities:

      • Understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines

      • 6+ years of experience with upper funnel media awareness campaigns

      • Coordinate with multi-channel teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of awareness-based channels (TV, CTV, Video, Social, Programmatic and Audio)

      • Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans

      • Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables

      • Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights

      • Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart

      • Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities

      Qualifications

      • 6+ years of total media planning experience in a large agency setting

      • 6+ years of media planning and buying experience in the TV, CTV, Social and digital landscape

      • 6+ years of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools

      • 3+ years of experience of leading multiple levels of direct reports in a large agency setting

      • Understanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on a national level

      • Experience promoting collaborative relationships with other teams

      • Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts

      The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
