      Job Description

      What is the opportunity?

      We are seeking an Associate Director, Investment Marketer, to work within the RBC BlueBay Marketing Team in London, supporting Fixed Income and Equities Marketing in EMEA and APAC.


      What will you do?

      Provide leadership:

      • Work in a highly collaborative environment, interacting closely with investment teams, distribution, and other stakeholders to create compelling product stories.
      • Plan and deliver activity that is adapted to support highly targeted audiences across institutional investors and wholesale audiences, including digital initiatives.
      • Work with communications and marketing colleagues to produce effective and professional product marketing materials, by delivering high quality, well-articulated and engaging content.
      • Align on and offline activity to business and sales strategy to support business growth.

      Campaign-specific

      • Work with the team to formulate and run campaigns, on and offline, in line with marketing and business objectives and identify best campaign tactics to drive desired outcomes.
      • Define KPI’s, monitor campaign performance, develop dashboards, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement.
      • Work with sales distribution channels and understand the sales structure to build effective distributions lists and lead scoring capabilities.
      • Support the production of relevant content across media channels, including written, visual, podcast/video.

      Analytics

      • Use analytics tools to provide regular insights and reporting focusing on key performance indicators.

      Subject matter expertise

      • Keep informed / share knowledge of marketing trends and provide input into evaluating new technologies.

      What do you need to succeed?

      Must-have:

      • Previous relevant experience in product and digital marketing in the asset management industry.
      • Strong experience in fixed income and equities marketing.
      • Ability to process information quickly, write and develop content.
      • Strong oral and writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
      • Stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to work on multiple projects and multitask.
      • Understanding of financial services (asset management and capital markets).
      • Experience of working with and managing third-party suppliers/agency relationships.
      • Ability to report data, recognise trends and analyse and communicate campaign results.
      • Team player who collaborates with stakeholders across the firm and any relevant third parties.
      • Strong interest in digital channels.


      Nice-to-have:

      • Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
      • Prior experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferable but not essential.
