End-to-end responsibility for roll-out and adoption of the Knowledge Management Repositories for the US IMPACT Practice across all of their content platforms.
An opportunity to work with senior IMPACT leaders and the Marsh businesses they service, to understand their unique needs and accordingly conceptualise and deliver value-add solutions for their business.
Exposure to a very dynamic team of subject-matter-experts across various domains.
An environment that fosters collaboration with Knowledge Services colleagues across the Research, Data Science, SharePoint / portal management and Design teams to be able to build a scalable, solutions-oriented knowledge platform.
Ensure knowledge management curating global database of product descriptions, presentations and sales/marketing materials, RFP’s, GTM’s, and value propositions,. Ensures content management protocols are followed.
Create user-friendly proposal language library architecture (RFP software, Sharepoint).
Maintain content libraries (Word and PowerPoint) by uploading new/updated records.
Populate/maintain fields of metadata/properties for each library record.
Ongoing maintenance of the repositories for easy accessibility to current information. Delete obsolete and/or rarely used records, as needed. Implement a plan for regular cadence with relevant stakeholders to make requisite updates and curate new content additions. Update records ad-hoc throughout the year as needed, based on acquired knowledge, feedback from users and input from consultant users.
Manage annual SME review process throughout the year with tagged SME(s), going back and forth extensively until reaching agreement on edits; follow up with SMEs who don’t communicate.
Provide regular library change updates to IMPACT team members.
Periodically report on utilization stats for the KM platform - Create analytic reports and monitor usage analytics.
Participate in all relevant town halls and read all relevant internal publications to stay informed of subject matter evolution.
Research, write, copyedit and upload new library records (requires advanced writing skills and strong language fluency).
Work with design team to create appropriate graphics to enhance visual appeal of content.
Define and maintain process quality checks, gather and conduct final inspections before documents are uploaded on the KM platform.
Engage with IMPACT leaders and recommend best practice methods for displaying, sharing, and communicating content based on existing and expected usage patterns.
Evangelise the portal and identify means to ensure consistent adoption by business teams. For example, send periodic newsletters highlighting the content additions and other developments on the platform.
Explore possibilities to drive automation and incorporation of new features to elevate the user experience.
Long-term success in this role will be contingent on relationship-building with the IMPACT team members in the US and relevant business teams to ensure compilation of relevant inputs from their teams to enhance the user experience + ease of access to relevant information.
MBA, BE Computer Science / IT, B.Sc. IT or any equivalent field.
10 to 15 years hands-on experience of Content & Knowledge Management with a Consulting / Financial Services / IT organization.
Proficiency on content management systems such as SharePoint Online, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), etc.
Past experience working on Proposal Management Software like QorusDocs, Qvidian, Loopio etc would be beneficial.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office - PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
Experience working with global stakeholders from different regions.
Effective project management skills and ability to drive consistent adherence to delivery plans.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, writing, listening.
Being able to mobilise fellow Knowledge Services colleagues with varying skillsets to drive multidisciplinary initiatives to fruitful completion.
Understating of insurance and risk management – Ability to incorporate basic business understanding while curating content will make you a strong ally for business leaders.
Prior experience utilizing GenAI tools to introduce operational efficiencies through automation.
Ability to analyse utilization metrics and translate insight into actionable SEO strategies.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or other image editing software.
Basic understanding of HTML, XML and CSS.
