Associate Director
London
As a Barclays Associate Director, you will be working within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. You will work closely with Corporate Bankers in all sales support activity to drive the growth and management of complex clients and large income opportunities. A key part of the role will be dealing with origination, co-ordination of internal stakeholders, and project management of the on-boarding of key transactions or relationships.

What will you be doing?
• Being a key and leading member of the deal team in the execution of complex lending transactions, tenders, and new deals
• Assisting Corporate Bankers in meeting required targets as indicated in the Banker Scorecard
• Helping in the development of the client acquisition strategy through research, preparation and delivery of pitches, presentations, and tenders
• Becoming an expert in the Industry your Banker’s portfolios cover and co-leading a subsector or accountability for writing thought leadership to share with wider team
• Ensuring accurate and timely updates within Salesforce for all clients covered including call reports, contact details, opportunity recording and general updates
• Assisting with the creation, co-ordination, and delivery of robust Client Account Plans, and contribute to Tapestry delivery to identify appropriate product solutions
• Undertaking detailed meeting preparation, pitch books and term sheets and attend meetings with or without a Banker focused on opportunities to drive growth
• Undertaking complex GPT pricing submissions and assisting with pricing committees as required
What we’re looking for:
• Ability to comprehend financial statements
• Experience of relationship management
Skills that will help you in the role:
• A broad knowledge of Corporate Banking products, services, and policies
• Ability to hold strategic client conversations internally and externally
• L1 credit analysis certification
• Competence in and solid grasp of complex debt structures

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
